Rosemary, is a warming, tonifying oil traditionally used for skin care, and as a support for the lungs and digestive system.  It has an unblocking, clearing quality, and may be used in massage where is especially useful for tired overworked muscles, and also for inhalation.   It is stimulating for mind and body.

There are three chemotypes of Rosemary: borneone, cineol, and verbenone.   Each has its own characteristics.

The cineol-type can be inhaled or used in a room diffuser to alleviate symptoms of catarrh.  Its anti-oxidant properties prevent hair loss and mind confusion.

Rosemary combines well with Geranium, Grapefruit, Lavender, Lemon, and Tea Tree.
