Frankincense has long been associated with meditation, spirituality and the search for higher consciousness.  It has an aroma that is at once familiar and mysterious, balsamic and spicy. Its effects on the lungs make it an excellent support for the respiratory system, where it blends well with Basil and Pine essential oils.

Frankincense is also well known for its rejuvenating effects.  For the skin it can be blended with Rock Rose and Corsican Helichrysum essential oils and Rosehip Seed oil to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.  As a tonic for good health Frankincense oil blends well with Lemon, Myrrh and Sandalwood essential oils.
