It is also known as Rock Rose, Labdanum.


Cistus has a sweet, dry, woody aroma with a lemony-floral overtone.  It acts as an antiseptic and helps to protect the body against harmful germs, so it can be good in an inhalation blend.  It is a must for first aid kits and helps to diminish fine lines, wrinkles and blemishes, especially when combined with Rose Hip Seed Oil (Rosa rubiginosa). Helps relieve nervousness and insomnia.
